SIMS Martial Arts Academy has pioneered No-Gi jiujitsu in the Sarpy, Cass, Otoe, and Nemaha County area. Award winning with over 30 years experience. Proudly representing the world wide 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu Association.

The Team
Founder and Head Instructor
“Sensei” Derek Stewart is a lifelong martial artist and multiple art Black Belt. The founder of SIMS Martial Arts Academy and 10th planet jiujitsu in Nebraska. He has dedicated his life to sharing the martial arts and all the incredible benefits it brings to the human spirit. He is currently the head coach at 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu Auburn teaching alongside his family.
